Blue Lavender Auras
Blue Lavenders—part of the emotional color group—are sensitive, loving, considerate and creative individuals. They can be outspoken, intuitive, and passionate, but often do not like to be responsible for the completion of tasks. They are thinkers, and it is best to leverage them for their creativity and let them move onto another create process or project. Blue Lavenders are compassionate thinkers who generate ideas, but they do not want to be responsible for anyone or anything that follows their advice. They are willing to share their opinion, but what others do with that information is up to them. Think of the Blue Lavender aura as a high level consultant who will tell you with compassion and integrity what they think or what to do, but will leave it up to you or someone else to put the plan into action. Since they don't like to get their hands dirty, they need filters in the form of co-workers and love ones to coach them on how ideas will be implemented in the real world. Blue Indigos need to learn how to let go of ideas once they create them and become frustrated if they follow an idea through to completion.

Enhancing Blue Lavender Auras

BLUE LAVENDERS & PERSONALITY: The Blue Lavender is highly intuitive and very intelligent. They are able to visualize information, picture problems and see solutions like a movie playing out in front of their eyes. It is sometimes more difficult for the Blue Lavender to translate these mental visions into words. Emotionally, the Blue Lavender will connect emotions to spirituality; they must see, feel, and touch on a level above the physical—they feel more through their fantasies than through reality. If their Blue overlay is strong enough however, they will try to hold onto a relationship closely and need reinforcement that the relationship will last. Socially, the Blue Lavender has many friends and will work well with others.  But you cannot ask them to totally commit to a project or social engagement because they may change their mind and direction without cause.

BLUE LAVENDERS & CAREER: Blue Lavenders need to integrate their intelligence, emotions, compassion for others, intuition and fantasies into their work. They will not be good project leaders, but will be good listeners who are compassionate and understanding. They are also creative in their approach to work. They have to be very careful about becoming too bored or daydreaming too much during work; they will simply walk off the job or resign if they do not continue to feel good about their work.

BLUE LAVENDERS & RELATIONSHIPS: All Blues, whether they add the additional color of Lavender or Indigo to their Aura, want to be in loving, committed, and emotionally connected relationships. So Blue Lavenders will get along well with other Blue Lavenders, Blue Indigos, and Blues because they are all very emotional. However, if there is too much emotion displayed by one or the other in the relationship, one of the parties may feel denied of their time to be the center of attention. A Blue Lavender and a Yellow will enjoy one another, but will not stay together for very long because a Yellow will take the relationship too lightly. A Blue Lavender in a relationship with a Magenta, Red, or Orange will find it difficult due to a Magenta being so outrageous, and a Red and Orange too physical for the Blue Lavender. The best choice for the Blue Lavender of the Analytical colors—Green, Mental Tan/Physical Tan, Loving/Nurturing Tan or a combination of these—will be the Loving Nurturing Tan with the Blue Lavender. Each of them has good communication skills, which will lead to an attentive, nurturing relationship.

BLUE LAVENDERS & HEALTH & WELLNESS: The Blue Aura of the Blue Lavender is highly emotional; our emotions pass through the body and often are expressed through the throat. Therefore, the throat and upper chest are susceptible to colds, bronchitis, and nasal issues. The Lavender aura comes from the eye area of the body and is a highly sensitive, highly intuitive area. So the combination of Blue Lavender can make the individual highly sensitive to light and therefore to headaches. The Blue Lavender should make time for walking and meditation so they can clear their minds, body and spirit. This will also help with depression and weight issues.

BLUE INDGIOS & SPIRITUALITY: Blue Lavenders experience spirituality as an out of body experience. They are deeply spiritual, and have a great faith and trust in God. They sometimes idealize the vision of God with music, candles, incense and meditation. Surrounding that image promotes calmness and takes them to an ethereal state. Blue Lavenders often combine prayer with walking and talking to God in a natural setting such as the woods or a park.

BLUE LAVENDERS & CHAKRAS: Blue Lavenders deal with the Chakra levels at the Throat and the Third eye. The Throat Chakra is the sensitive filtering system for our bodies. Our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual feelings are released through this Chakra; the Throat Chakra is the communication center for our body. The Third Eye Chakra that governs the Lavender part of this Aura combination helps guide the individual to greater soulful insight and spirituality. The Blue Lavender uses both the Throat Chakra and the Third Eye Chakra to enhance the feelings received through daydreaming and intuitive growth.

BLUE LAVENDERS & COLOR CHANGE: Blue Lavenders weaken in color as opposed to being too strong and vibrant. They tend to become almost sleepy and lethargic, losing their grip on reality and falling deeper into an emotional state of depression if left without intervention. It is important to introduce a very bright Turquoise color to awaken the Blue Lavender, and to snap the Blue Lavender out of lethargy. Turquoise helps the Blue Lavender see more clearly. Another color that can be used to increase the power, stability, and focus of the Blue Lavender is Indigo. This emotional color is a stronger, more directed color that can follow and finish inner directions. Blue Lavenders will flourish with the aid of bright colors—even red as a positive motivator—from time to time.

ENHANCING BLUE LAVENDER AURAS: It is important to enhance the Blue Lavender Aura with jewelry, gemstones, clothing and household hints. Jewelry should be simple and lightweight so it does not keep the Blue Lavender sedentary. A small Turquoise, Sodalite, or Lapis pendant can be worn at the neckline. Also an Amethyst or Pink Tourmaline is wonderful at the neck to relax the mind and spirit. Clothing should be very light in color—mostly pastels—although Navy can be worn on the bottom half of the body. Yellow clothing will help lift the Blue Lavender out of any depression, and a Yellow and Violet color combination will give the Blue Lavender a feeling of focus and power. Blue Lavenders clutter the home; projects remain unfinished, mail unopened, clothing strewn about lots of “stuff” sitting around the home. Therefore, the home should be cleaned out with minimal furniture; walls should be light in color, all completed with the creative influence of the Blue Lavenders.
