Blue Auras
Blues – the anchor color in the emotion group - are nurturing, loving, compassionate, giving, and expressive. Blues value spirituality and relationships above all else. Their spirituality is expressed through prayer and healing. They are loving, giving, honest and extremely affectionate. Blues always need friends, family and co-workers around to support their ideas and beliefs.

Blues are wonderful care givers, and emotionally charged about everything they do and everyone they embrace. However, they easily fall into the trap of trying to make everything right and satisfying the needs of others. They are passionate and dedicated, and will often let emotion override logic – while this is a sign of strong faith, it can sometimes lead them into bad relationships. They need people around them who will let them know when they have done enough, will show appreciation for their love and support, and will make sure their needs are met. Blues also need people around to pull them out of abusive or unbalanced relationships. They need to remember how hard and sometimes impossible it is to change people.

Enhancing Blue Auras

BLUES & PERSONALITY: Blues use their intelligence in an intuitive manner. They visualize outcomes but do not always verbalize adequately. They collect, store, and sort information like a filing cabinet; they pull out the necessary data when needed, and then re-file for later use. They remember dates and facts with speed and accuracy. Emotionally, Blues cover the entire spectrum of emotions—sadness, happiness, laughter, tears, screams of joy and anger. Blue need to process their feelings, and need space to sort out nagging emotional issues. They want to love and take care of others, and if they are not careful people may take advantage of their loving nature. Blues need to nurture the emotional side of their personality in order to feel better about overwhelming others with love and attention. Socially, Blues need people to surround them. They will put the needs of others ahead of their own and measure success by the number of people they can please in public settings.

BLUES & CAREER: Blues love to be of service to others; they need to care for others and are usually drawn to helping professions. They work best in a one-on-one or heart-to-heart situation. They take their time and are very cautious about work and healing methods that they use with co-workers. Blues need to work in an environment that encourages friendship with co-workers outside of the workplace and they need flexibility in their work schedules in order to spend quality time at home creating a warm, loving, nurturing home environment

BLUES & RELATIONSHIPS: Blues want to be in loving, committed, and emotionally connected relationships. Blues will be the most loyal and supportive of all the Aura colors. They will show their happiness through good relationships, and sadness in bad relationships. They will literally transform themselves to be loved and will often stay in a relationship far beyond its healthy longevity. Blues get along with all the other Emotional Auras, and their best color combination for a positive relationship outside of their personality spectrum is with an Analytical Loving/Nurturing Tan. They will each be patient, compassionate and loving towards each other. Blues should avoid relationships with anyone in the Physical, or Action Personality Aura colors due to their need to be constantly moving, partying, working or engaging in some physical activity. Blues also connect with Spiritual Aura colors due to their strong belief in spirituality and family and in helping others.

BLUES & HEALTH & WELLNESS: Blues do not focus much energy on their physical bodies because they work from the Throat Chakra, which is the emotional communication center of the body. Therefore, most of the weakness and illness that befalls the Blue individual is sore throats or upper respiratory issues. Many Blues lose their voices several times during the year—especially with the change of seasons. Their emotions are driven and more audibly heard by the change from the Spring, Summer months to the Fall, Winter seasons. Blues are also plagued with weight issues; many are overweight or pear shaped because they are sitting too much and consumed with taking care of others instead of themselves. They should incorporate a regimen of walking daily. Walking, focused breathing and meditating are good wellness practices for Blues. Releasing past guilt and fear of not being loved or not loving enough will also keep them healthy.

BLUES & SPIRITUALITY: Blues have a strong sense of God. They experience, know and feel God; he is real, and a Blue experiences the love, compassion, comfort and faith of God. Blues cannot express the depth of their faith very easily to others; they only know that there is a profound emotional bond with God that renders them speechless, teary and in awe and wonder of the glory of God. Blues will always try to find a spiritual home in the form of religion; throughout their lives they may participate in many religions to find the exact fit.

BLUES & CHAKRAS: Blue is the color of the Throat Chakra. The Throat Chakra is the filtering system for all of our emotions, and is the communication center for the human body. How we feel physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually all eventually streams out through the Throat Chakra in some verbal manner. This Chakra enhances idealism, love and understanding and when properly balanced results in peace of mind and a strong faith.

BLUES & COLOR CHANGE: Blues are the most emotional of all the colors so they show changes in the variety of their Blue hues with their emotions. If a Blue Aura becomes too dark, emotions become dogmatic, arrogant, sarcastic, overprotective, and overbearing. When this happens, a Green color should be applied to the Aura to encourage more loving, even tempered thoughts to help lighten the darkness. If the Blue Aura becomes too light, a sense of apathy and laziness develops around the individual. When this occurs, a bright Turquoise or clear Lapis should be applied to brighten the Aura and help the individual to feel happier and more energized.

ENHANCING BLUE AURAS:  The Blue Aura is easy to enhance because not only does the blue surround your body, but also it surrounds your throat area, which is the Throat Chakra, the seat of emotions. This area is perfect for wearing jewelry, scarves, turtleneck sweaters, ties, and shirts, and multiple layers of outerwear. Every color that is worn at the neckline encourages a special emotion. Red encourages passion, orange encourages energy, yellow helps you feel sunny and high spirited and ready to party, green helps you feel full of love for yourself and others. Pink helps you feel love and bring you love, lavender relaxes you, purple helps you feel powerful, and white makes you feel serene and calm.

Blues do not have to worry so much with color in their home or workplace—just not to use too much blue because it causes an overload. Blues have the advantage of being able to wear so many colors close to them to change their emotions.
